As A Barber, I'm I Entitled To Keep The Hair I Cut?

One of my customers got upset at me for stuffing his hair into a trash can and telling him that I keep all of my customers hair as a memory. I have thousands of bags in storage of hair I have cut through out the years. He claimed i was crazy and demanded to take his hair with him. I was shocked wondering what the heck he would do with his hair. Whats the big deal?
