Well its hair, so it will grow back. Though hair can tend to become a security blanket so you might want to ease into it but just cutting off a couple inches. That way, if you still want it shorter, you can cut off more but if you go too short too quickly you may regret it. Shorter hair will look nice though, it is more bouncy, especially if you get layers. I would try to just below the shoulder blades and go from there. Its nice to have a change.

if it's something that you really want to do.. a big change is nice every once in a while, and it's just in time for summer so it's the perfect time to do it!

i happen to love long hair myne is at my waist and im hoping for longer, but if u feel like cutting it then go ahead u can donate ur hair left overs to those cancer hair centers

if u want to cut then do it. if ur not sure then cut it a little past ur shoulders.

If you do decide to cut it off, make sure you tell your hairdresser you want to donate the hair for Cancer Patients who are losing theirs. I think its called "Locks of Love" and they make wigs out of your hair for chemo patients.

Well if its in condition, maybe just have a small bit off if you like it.

If its either in a rough condition or its annoying you, have it cut off to just below your shoulders or something. It will be a big change, but you can have cool things done like layers, a fringe, a side fringe... you will probably feel more confident with a whole new hairstyle!

And at the end of the day... hair grows back!

Do it and donate it to Locks of Love. I did it last year, and it was emotional... but you feel so much lighter afterwards! Your hair can actually be styled, and you can actually wear different clothes that don't look right with longer hair... I was astounded when I realized that. I am still getting compliments on the shorter hair, and now when I look back at old pictures or get in the shower I wonder what I was holding onto for so long!

Cut it and donate it to "locks of Love" that provide wigs to children with cancer and kids who have lost all their hair for other reasons. It has to be a ponytail at least 10 inches in length. So go ahead and cut it. Look at it this way: you get a brand new awesome look and you get to help kids at the same time. You can always grow your hair back out and you will know that the kid who gets the wig will receive much needed self esteem.

I would highly suggest against it. It sounds like you have really amazing hair... something you don't see everyday. I'm sure you have guys all over you %26amp; everything. If you really want the change, go for it, but of course, long hair like that is always sexy.

PS: Locks of love is kind of a scam... they make wigs out of the hair, but only donate a small fraction of them. The rest they sell.
